Ideas

Esthetician Instagram captions you can copy.

A good caption does one job: it tells the right person what to do next. Say what the post shows, who it's for and how to book, in three short lines.

The list

Ten captions by purpose

  1. 01

    For an opening

"Two times just opened: Thursday at 4:00 and Saturday at 10:00. Message me to take one."

  2. 02

    For a facial photo

"What an hour with me looks like. No rushing, no upsell, a plan to take home."

  3. 03

    For a first-timer

"Never had a facial? Start with a consult. I'll ask about your skin and tell you honestly what's worth doing."

  4. 04

    For your policy

"I hold your time just for you. If plans change, 24 hours of notice lets me offer it to someone else."

  5. 05

    For a product

"The one product I'd keep if I could only keep one, and how I'd use it."

  6. 06

    For a review

"Her words, not mine. Thank you for trusting me with your skin."

  7. 07

    For a slow week

"Quiet week, which means I have time. Weekday mornings are open."

  8. 08

    For a milestone

"Three years in this room. Thank you to every one of you who came back."

  9. 09

    For a question

"The question I'm asked most, answered. Save this for later."

  10. 10

    For being away

"I'm away until the 14th. Messages are still answered and bookings are open for when I'm back."

What a visit is like

Your policy, kindly

I hold your time just for you. If plans change, [24] hours of notice lets me offer it to someone on my waitlist. Thank you for understanding.

Do

  • End every caption with how to book.
  • Write the way you talk to a client in the room.
  • Put the important line first. Most people read one.

Don't

  • Don't stack twenty hashtags under a caption.
  • Don't apologize for your prices or your policy.
  • Don't diagnose skin in the comments. Invite a consult.

How Bella handles this for you.

When a caption works, the messages come while your hands are on a client. Bella answers Instagram DMs, texts and calls in seconds, and books the time into your calendar.

Questions owners ask

How long should an Instagram caption be?

Short enough that the first line does the work. Three lines is plenty for an opening. A teaching post can run longer if the first line earns it.

Do hashtags still matter?

A few specific ones help people find you locally. A long block of them adds little and makes the caption harder to read.
