Run the desk

She answers the phone. Then she runs the desk.

Checkout, tickets, payroll, staff, inventory and back bar — one place, fed by the same bookings Bella just made. Keep your booking software if you like. Or run the whole desk here.

No forced migration. Vagaro, Fresha, Boulevard, GlossGenius, Square, Mangomint and Yocale bookings all sync onto the board.

A past day is marked clearly — Viewing a past day — so nobody rings out yesterday by mistake.

    Tickets & invoices

One ticket. One clean paper trail.

Every ring-out becomes a ticket: line items, subtotal, GST, total. Once it's paid, it's read-only — with a proper way to fix a mistake.

    Payroll

Pay periods that count from the service date.

Each stylist's services, retail and back bar roll up into one payable number, using a commission formula you set once. Sliding scales earn one rate for the whole period, from the band the stylist's total lands in. Owners paid by drawings still count toward the salon's totals, but draw no commission themselves.

Ready to lock? This period is preliminary until it ends on your salon's clock. Fix a ticket or add a bonus, with a reason, before you lock — locking freezes every pay sheet.

Once locked: an accountant sheet, full detail by stylist, and printable pay sheets for everyone.

    Staff & services

Every rate, every service, in one place.

Set a service rate and a retail rate per stylist, with an optional login for each. A shared front-desk login can ring out a sale but is never credited for a service.

The service price fills the ticket automatically, and can still be changed on the ticket with a reason. Discontinue a service or deactivate a staff member instead of deleting them — history stays intact. Import your whole menu from your old system.

    Inventory

    Retail, costed and tracked.

Every retail product with its supplier, cost and retail price, plus a history and a place to retire what you no longer carry.

Retired products stay on file for history without cluttering the shelf. Import your product list from your old system the same way you import services.

    Back bar

The product a service uses up, before the split.

Back bar comes off the top before commission is split. Set it per service — Flat, Itemized from costed products, Percent of the whole account, or None. It freezes onto the ticket the moment it closes, so changing the rate later never re-prices finished work.

    How it fits together

    One booking. Five places.

The booking Bella made at 7:43 PM is on tomorrow's day board, becomes a ticket at ring-out, carries its back bar, lands on the stylist's pay sheet, and shows up in the owner's dashboard as revenue captured. One record, five places.

    Keep your booking software

    No forced migration.

Vagaro, Fresha, Boulevard, GlossGenius, Square, Mangomint and Yocale bookings all sync onto the same day board — a synced booking carries a small tag, like the Yocale booking above, so your team always knows where it came from.

What owners ask before they run the desk in Bella

Do I have to switch from Vagaro or Fresha?

No. Keep your booking software. Bella's bookings and your existing bookings both land on the same day board — a synced booking simply carries a small tag so your team knows where it came from.

    Does Bella replace my POS?

She runs checkout and invoices — ring out a sale, download the invoice, record the tender as MC, VISA or DEBIT. She isn't a card terminal; you keep the one you have.

How does payroll handle back bar?

Back bar comes off the top before commission is split, using whichever method you set per service: a flat amount, itemized from costed products, or one percent for the whole account. It's frozen onto the ticket the moment it closes, so a later rate change never re-prices finished work.

What if a ticket was rung wrong?

Reopen it with a reason before the pay period locks, fix the line items, and close it again. Once a period locks, corrections go through as adjustments instead.

Can my front desk have its own login?

Yes. A shared front-desk login rings out sales, but it's never credited for a service the way a stylist's own login is.

Can I import my services and products from my old system?

Yes — your service menu and your product shelf both import, so you're not typing either one in by hand.

Run the whole desk. Or just the phone.

Either way, call and ask her whatever a client would ask you.
